Provinces, SANA – Fourteen persons were injured due to shelling attacks in Damascus and its Countryside, in a new violation of the de-escalation zone in the Eastern Ghouta.
A source at Damascus Countryside Police Command told SANA that the armed groups positioned in some areas of the Eastern Ghouta fired 5 rockets on al-Assad Suburb, injuring three persons, two children among them, and causing material damage.
The source added that two other shells landed in Kashkoul neighborhood in Jaramana area, which caused material damage to citizens’ houses.
In Damascus, a source at the Police Command said that armed groups fired two rockets on al-Shaghour neighborhood, inflicting injuries on two persons and causing material damage to al-Ahmar Mosque’s building.
The source noted that a rocket shell landed in al-Abbasyin area and caused material damage only.
Later, a mortar shell fell on a building in al-Abbasyin area, injuring nine persons; three of them are in critical condition.
