Abdollahian: Washington must be held accountable for Israeli aggression on Iranian consulate

Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has announced that he had sent a message to the US administration through the Chargé d’affaires of the Swiss Embassy in Tehran against the backdrop of the Israeli aggression on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, stressing that Washington must be held accountable.

“The director of the US Department in Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the Chargé d’affaires at the Swiss Embassy whose country represents US interests in Tehran. During the meeting, the dimensions of this terrorist attack and the Zionist crime were clarified and the responsibility of the US administration was emphasized”, Amir Abdollahian published on his page on X platform.

“An important message was sent to the US government, as a supporter of the Zionist entity and the US must bear this responsibility”, Amir Abdollahian noted.
