Damascus, SANA – A first tourist group headed from Syria to the Armenian capital of Yerevan via Cham Wings Airlines Wednesday morning.
Bassam Parsik, Director of Tourism Promotion at the Ministry of Tourism, said that the tourist trip came in implementation of the agreement reached between the two friendly countries during the recent visit of the Armenian economic delegation to the Syria several days ago.
Director of Business Development at Cham Wings Airline Osama Satei said that the company will offer discounts on flight tickets for the departing and arriving tour groups on its airlines.
He added that company is running weekly flights from Damascus to Yerevan and vice versa.
