Astana, SANA – The Syrian Arab Republic delegation headed by Bashar al-Jaafari arrived on Sunday at the Kazakh capital of Astana to participate in the 7th Astana meeting which will be held on October 30-31.
Earlier, Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesman Anwar Jainakov announced that the participating delegations in the 7th round of Astana will begin arriving on Sunday evening after all the concerned parties on the Astana process confirmed their participation in this meeting.
He added that the bilateral and tripartite expert-level meetings in the framework of Astana 7 talks on Syria will be held on Monday.
The Kazakh capital of Astana hosted six rounds of talks on the crisis in Syria, and all the meetings stressed commitment to Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial unity, in addition to enhancing the cessation of hostilities agreement and establishment of the de-escalation zones.
