More than 550,000 Captagon pills seized in Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA- Drug Combating Department in Aleppo seized on Thursday 95 kg of narcotic pills bounded for smuggling and trafficking.

Aleppo Police Chief Maj. Gen Issam al-Shibli told SANA reporter that after accurate investigations, the Department had information that a person was preparing to smuggle large quantities of narcotic pills (Captagon), adding that the Department stormed one of the warehouses located in al-Hamdaniya area, seizing more than 550,000 narcotic pills weighing more than 95 kg that were hidden in 12 tires in preparation for smuggling, promotion and trafficking.

He pointed out that the person was arrested and investigations are underway to reach all members who work with him to be punished.
