Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected a superficial Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy and thundershowers will fall over the coastal mountains while the weather will be misty and hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera, and al-Badiya desert areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a light to moderate speed and it will be active sometimes, while the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/21, Daraa 35/21, Homs 31/20, Lattakia 30/24 Aleppo 36/23 and Deir Ezzor 42/25.
