New York, SANA – Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the latest terrorist attacks in Damascus, underscoring the need to bring those responsible to justice.
“We are appalled by the utter disregard for human life displayed by the perpetrators,” Stéphane Dujarric, Spokesman for the UN chief, said in a statement on Tuesday, adding “Those responsible for the attacks must be held accountable.”
In the statement, Dujarric also offered condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
