Tartous Customs seizes 1,900,000 Captagon pills

Tartous, SANA-Tartous Customs Directorate seized about 1,900,000 pills of Captagon, prepared for smuggling, inside a house in al-Sheikh Sa’ad village in Tartous countryside.

Director of Tartous Customs Diab Shadoud told SANA that the operation took place last Thursday, adding that members of the Directorate stormed a house in al-Sheikh Sa’ad village which is a small workshop for the manufacture of tables where they found about 1,900,000 pills of Captagon hidden in the legs of wooden tables.

He noted that the financial penalty of that amount of drug values more than 5 billion SYP.
