Damascus Countryside, SANA- Authorities on Tuesday thwarted a terrorists’ attempt of detonating a car bomb near al-Mustaqbal crossroad on Damascus International Airport Road.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that authorities destroyed a car bomb carrying two suicide terrorists before they reached a check point near al-Mustaqbal crossroad that leads to al-Sayyda Zeinab town in Damascus Countryside Province.
The source confirmed the death of the two terrorists inside, adding that the car was completely destroyed.
The source pointed out that a civilian was killed and another got injured as they were passing by the car when it was destroyed.
