Al-Tal – Mnein road re-opened amid mass popular festival

Damascus Countryside, SANA – A popular festivity was organized Monday as the road to the cities of al-Tal and Mnein in Damascus Countryside was re-opened.

Governor of Damascus Countryside, Alaa Mounir Ibrahim, underlined the governorate’s keenness on reactivating the economic, social and cultural movement in the two cities as well as ensuring the provision of basic services.

Secretary of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party branch in Damascus Countryside,  Humam Haidar said that today’s festivity conveys a message to the external enemies of the homeland that the Syrian people cannot be defeated,  hailing the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab army’s heroes who restored security and stability to both cities.

The festivity included a cycling race.
