6 persons killed, scores injured in terrorist attacks with shells in Deir Ezzor, Daraa and Damascus

Provinces, SANA- 6 persons were killed and 37 others were injured, among them children and women, in terrorist attacks with mortar shells fired by ISIS terrorists on al-Qusor , al-jourah and Harabesh neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor City.

Earlier, SANA reporter said that ISIS terrorists targeted with mortar shells ISIS-besieged neighborhood of Harabesh, claiming the life of a person and injuring 13 others, in addition to causing material damage to a number of houses and properties.

Director of the Health Department in Deir Ezzor Abdul-Najim al-Obeid said that the medical center in the neighborhood received 13 injured persons including women and children and provided all the possible medical care for them.

Al-Obeid added that the number of martyrs is expected to rise as most of the wounded people are in critical health condition.

In Damascus, three persons were injured when armed groups fired a rocket shell al-Mazraa area in a violation of the memorandum on de-escalation zones.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that terrorists positioned in Eastern Ghouta targeted the city of Damascus with a rocket shell which fell near a pedestrian underpass in the vicinity of al-Hayat Hospital in al-Mazraa area, injuring three persons and causing material damage.

In Daraa, five persons were also injured in a terrorist attack with shells on the citizens’ houses in Daraa city in a new breach of the de-escalation areas memorandum.

SANA reporter said that the armed groups positioned in Daraa al-Balad area fired a number of rocket and mortar shells on the citizens’ houses in the neighborhoods of al-Sahari, al-Dahiya, the Military Housing and Maisaloun, injuring five persons, including two women and a child and causing material damages to the properties and the infrastructure in addition to the eruption of 4 fires in the Military Housing
