Over 1000 wanted persons in northwestern countryside of Daraa have their legal status settled

Daraa, SANA – More than 1000 wanted persons from Mahajjeh town in Izraa area in the northwestern countryside of Daraa province had their legal status settled on Saturday in the framework of continuing comprehensive reconciliation in Daraa countryside.

SANA reporter said the 1000 persons had earlier handed over their weapons to the authorities, noting that those included 450 persons who evaded military service.

The reporter added that some of those who had their legal status settled have showed willingness to join the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army to fight the terrorist organizations in Daraa and its countryside.

The evacuation of all armed manifestations in Mahajjeh town makes Daraa-Damascus highway fully secure, especially after the towns of al-Sanamin and Ghabaghen had earlier joined similar reconciliation agreements.
