Daraa, SANA – 350 food packages and kids’ gifts offered by the Russian government were distributed to families of Khebeb and Basir towns in the northern countryside of Daraa province.
Daraa’s Governor Mohammad Khaled al-Hannous said that the aid stresses the depth of the Syrian-Russian relations and helps strengthen the steadfastness of the Syrian people to confront terrorism.
In turn, Representative of the Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center in the Southern Area Gennady Bariovich said that his country will continue efforts to help and support terror-affected and needy people, adding that the local reconciliations have positive impact on the lives of Syrians across the country.
Mayor Of Khebeb Municipality Ahed Badawi said that 250 food packages were distributed to families in Khebeb town, other 100 packages were distributed to people of Basir village in addition to distributing 100 gifts for the children of martyrs, injured soldiers, the displaced and poor families.
