Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain around or slightly above average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the sky will be clear in general, some scattered clouds appear.
The department warned against the formation of ice in the mountains and fog and frost in some inland areas.
The winds will be southeastern if low speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 15/03, Daraa 16/04, Homs 15/01, Hama 15/01, Lattakia 19/08, Aleppo 15/03 and Deir Ezzor 16/04.
