Provinces, SANA – Military operations on Saturday have left increasing numbers of terrorists killed and others wounded during targeting their dens and gatherings in some areas and repelling their infiltration attempts in others.
Homs
Units of the army and the armed forces killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorists and injured others in the main square in al-Rastan city in the countryside of the central province of Homs.
Some social media pages following terrorist organizations circulated news about the execution of the leader of the so-called “Khalid Ibn al-Walid Brigade”, Hassan al-Ashtar, by Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Rastan area.
The army also repelled terrorists who attempted to infiltrate from the villages of Rahoum and Onq al-Hawa towards Maksar al-Husan in the countryside.
In September 2013, organizations affiliated to the so-called “Jabhat al-Nusra for Ahl al-Sham” and “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” committed a massacre against the people of Maksar al-Husan, claiming the lives of 17 civilians, including women.
Idleb
Positions and hideouts of the terrorists were hit in during army operations in the villages of Khsheir, al-Zahabiyeh, Tal al-Touqan, al-Debshiyeh, Talab, Biyaa al-Kabira and al-Mistriheh in the surrounding of Abu al-Duhour Airport in the countryside of the northern province of idleb.
Several dens for terrorist organizations were targeted and destroyed by army units in Ta’oum village, with many of their members getting killed or wounded.
Osama Harb, Tharwat Harb, Mustafa Harb and Hassan Ahmad Hajj Qassem were identified among the killed terrorists.
More terrorists were killed in operations that targeted their dens, along with the weapons and ammunition inside them, in Ain al-Bardeh and Jabal Hallouz near Jisr al-Shughour.
Members of the terrorist organizations operating in Qmeinas village suffered losses as units of the army carried out special operations that directly targeted their positions.
Daraa
In the southern province of Daraa, units of the army and the armed forces killed numbers of terrorists and wounded others to the south of the old Customs building in Daraa al-Balad and in al-Hamadin neighborhood in Daraa al-Mahata in the city.
