350 food baskets distributed in al-Yarmouk camp

Damascus, SANA-Sponsored by the Syrian government and supervised by the Higher Relief Committee, the Arab Palestinian Refugees General Commission distributed relief aid to the locals of al-Yarmouk refugee camp near Damascus.

350 food baskets with bread have been distributed Thursday in Rama Street inside the camp.

Syrian and Palestinian citizens have been trapped inside the camp due to the acts of terrorist groups.

The Commission’s director Ali Mustafa told SANA that a total of 44,660 food baskets have been distributed in al-Yarmouk camp since last January.

The number of patients who have been evacuated from the camp to receive treatment at Damascus hospitals has risen to 4, 470 after a critical case was evacuated Thursday, according to Mustafa.
