Putin, Erdogan discuss crisis in Syria in phone call

Moscow, SANA – Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed in a phone call with President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyip Erdogan the situation in Syria and the latest developments in Aleppo city.

RT Website quoted Kremlin as saying in a statement that Putin and Erdogan discussed holding intra-Syrian talks in the Kazakh capital, Astana, between the Syrian government and “the opposition”.

“The sides exchanged views on the situation in Syrian with an emphasis on the situation in Aleppo, in particular, the issue of evacuation from the city of civilians and militants who are ready to lay down arms,” the statement added.
