More than 3,500 persons leave terrorist-besieged eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo

Lattakia, SANA- More than 3,500 persons exited the terrorist-besieged eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo on Monday through humanitarian corridors opened by the Syrian Arab army in cooperation with the Russian side.

SANA reporter said that more than 3,500 people managed to escape the grip of the terrorist organizations positioned in the southeastern part of Aleppo through the corridors of Bab al-Nairab, Qadi Askar Roundabout, al-Aziziya and Bab al-Hadid.

The reporter added that civilians are still getting out of the eastern neighborhoods as the army units and the bodies concerned in Aleppo Governorate are transporting them to the makeshift centers in Jibrin where all the necessary services and health care are provided to them.

In the same context, the Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center said in a statement that over the past 24 hours, 13,346 civilians including 5,831 children exited the terrorist-besieged eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo.

The Center added that 728 gunmen handed over their arms and got out to the western neighborhoods of Aleppo to have their legal status settled according to the amnesty decree.

In the same context, the Center said that Russian experts are continuing their work in dismantling mines and explosive devices from the areas to which the Syrian army has restored security and security over the past 24 hours where mines were removed from an area estimated at 7, 1 hectares and a road with a length of 3, 5 km was combed.
