Hama, SANA – The Criminal Security Department in Hama arrested on Wednesday a woman involved in promoting and selling narcotics in Hama city.
Hama Police Chief Maj. Gen. Ashraf Taha Maj. Gen. Ashraf Taha told SANA that a 35-year-old woman was caught red-handed while she was promoting and selling drugs in al-Andalus neighborhood in Hama city, and that an amount of Captagon tablets were seized in her possession.
He noted that the Criminal Security Department found that the arrested girl is a member of a gang, adding that investigations will continue to arrest the rest of the gang’s members.
