Russian aid distributed to needy families in al-Husseiniyeh town, Damascus Countryside

Damascus, SANA – Food and health supplies provided by the Russian government were distributed on Saturday to residents and displaced people in al-Husseiniyeh town in Damascus Countryside.

Denis Ivanov, representative of the Head of the Reconciliation in Damascus, told SANA reporter that the aid is an expression of support from the Russian people to the Syrians in the face of international terrorism.

He noted that the supplies included wheat, sugar and rice, in addition to health materials.

Mayor of al-Husseiniyeh town Ahmad Muhawesh said the aid was distributed to 200 needy families.
