Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry discussed in a phone call on Thursday the Russian-US cooperation that aims at defeating terrorist groups in Syria.
Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the two sides discussed the possible Russian-US cooperation aimed at defeating terrorist groups in Syria, efforts to solve humanitarian issues and moving to the political settlement of the crisis on the basis of the understandings reached by the Russian and US presidents during their meeting in Hangzhou city in China on September 5.
