Terrorist groups breach the cessation of hostilities eight more times in Damascus and Lattakia countryside

Lattakia, SANA-The Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center monitoring the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria announced that over the past 24 hours, terrorist groups breached the agreement 8 new times as the total number of the breaches since the agreement came into force reached 1148.

The center added that terrorists of the so-called “Jaish al-Islam” attacked with mortar shells a number of towns in the Eastern Ghota in Damascus Countryside, and terrorists of the so-called “Ahrar al-Sham” targeted the village of al-Hamrat in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

Nine new areas in Lattakia province have joined the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria as the total number of the towns and areas which joined the agreement reached 548, according to the Russian center.

The cessation of hostilities agreement doesn’t include ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra or other groups designated as terrorist organizations by the UN Security Council.
