Cessation of hostilities agreement breached eight more times by terrorists in Damascus and Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA-The number of breaches of the cessation of hostilities agreement rose to 1024 after 8 new breaches were observed in Damascus and Lattakia over the past 24 hours.

According to the Hmeimim-based Russian center monitoring the agreement, which came into effect on February 27, terrorists of the so-called “Jaish al- Islam” attacked with mortar shells the towns of Jisrin, al-Nashabyieh, Erbin, Douma, Housh al-Fara, Harasta, al-Bahharyieh, Housh Nasri, Housh Khrabou and Joubar neighborhood in Damascus Countryside.

In Lattakia, terrorists of the so-called Ahrar al-Sham attacked with rocket shells the towns of al-Zwaikat, and al-Hamrat and Klaz Tahtani village,in addition to the positions of the Syrian Arab army in the area of Abu Ali Mountain.

The Center added in a statement that terrorists attacked with rocket and mortar shells the neighborhoods of al-Ansari and al-Castello and the factories of cement and gas and the humanitarian corridors in the neighborhood of al-Halak in Aleppo province.

The statement indicated that 9 new areas in Lattakia, Hama and Sweida provinces have joined the agreement of the cessation of hostilities as the number of the towns and areas which joined the agreement reached 438.
