Damascus, SANA –On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, General Ali Abdullah Ayoub, Chief of Staff of the Army and the Armed Forces, accompanied by a number of the General Command officers paid a visit to several military points in the southern region.
General Ayoub inspected the situation of the soldiers and hailed their high morale through pursuing the armed terrorist groups.
“The blood offered by the martyrs will not go in vain; their blood will increase our determination to fight the wahhabi takfiri thought which is backed by regional and Arab regimes,” General Ayoub said.
He stressed that the battle against the terrorist groups will continue until terrorism is eliminated and security and stability are restored to every inch of the homeland.
