Sweida, SANA- Popular defense groups confiscated on Monday a number of RPG and mortar shells which were loaded on a motorcycle coming from Daraa towards the terrorist organizations in the eastern desert ( badiyeh) of Sweida.
A source in Sweida said that a motorcycle coming from the eastern countryside of Daraa was monitored carrying 11 RPG and two mortar shells.
Investigating the driver, he acknowledged that the confiscated shells were bound to the terrorist organizations in the eastern Badiyeh.
In more than an operation during March, authorities concerned, in cooperation with locals, confiscated a large quantity of arms, various shells, rocket charges, mines, Israeli-made LAO rocket and about half a ton of TNT which were prepared to be smuggled to terrorist organizations in the eastern and north eastern Badiyeh in Sweida province.
