Bogdanov discusses with US, French Ambassadors “Cessation of hostilities in Syria”

Moscow, SANA-Special representative of the Russian President, Deputy Foreign Minister Michael Bogdanov discussed on Thursday with US Ambassador in Moscow John Tefft issues on “the cessation of fighting acts in Syria.”

“Discussions during the meeting concentrated on the effectiveness of coordinating efforts for observing the commitment to the cessation of hostilities in Syria according to the US-Russian agreement documented in the UN Security council resolution No.2268 and contributing to launching stable talks under the UN umbrella in Geneva in line with resolution No.2254,” Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Earlier, Bogdanov also discussed with the French Ambassador in Moscow “the cessation of hostilities” and the resumption of Syrian-Syrian talks due in Geneva on March 9^th.
