Damascus, SANA – The temperatures are around average in most areas as the country is being affected by low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be cloudy in general and local thundershowers are expected over the southern and southwestern areas, while the weather will be misty in the southeastern and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The wind will be southeasterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will rise to become slightly higher than average, and the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general while it will be cloudy in the evening and during the night in the coastal and the northwestern areas.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14/5, Daraa 15/6, Homs 14/5, Hama 15/5, Hasaka 14/3, Lattakia 18/10, Aleppo 13/4 and Deir Ezzor 14/6.
