San Jose, SANA – President of Costa Rica Luis Guillermo Solis called for adopting a new policy regarding refugees and refraining from exploiting their needs and hopes.
Solis said that receiving Syrian refugees is merely a symbolic gesture, and it doesn’t help resolve the crisis in Syria, rejecting the concept of offering refuge as he said that the groups who come from Syria won’t find the social, religious, or cultural havens they need to lead normal lives.
