During the past ten days, Hasaka Governorate opened 11 temporary housing centers in Qamishli city to accommodate families that fled the southern neighborhoods of Hasaka city in fear of terrorists, and committees have been formed to register the names of displaced civilians and allocate food, medicine, and other needs to them.

The Social Affairs Directorate at the province estimated that a total of 14,000 families from the province were displaced by terrorist activities, adding that 10,000 of them have been registered, and that efforts to provide aid for them are underway in coordination with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and humanitarian organizations, such as the UNICEF.

ISIS terrorists had waged attacks on neighborhoods in Hasaka city ten days ago, committing heinous massacres against civilians, driving locals out of these neighborhoods. The Syrian Arab Army is working to rid all the neighborhoods of Hasaka from terrorists and restore security and stability to the city.
