Third batch of food packages goes through Nsebeen border crossing

Hasaka, SANA- Social affairs director in Hasaka Issam al-Husein announced that 46,000 food packages provided by the World Food Program are beginning to pass through Nsaibeen border crossing in Qamishli city in Hasaka province.

Al-Hussein added that the aid delivery is being carried out using 121 vehicles and will last until April 28th, and this aid will be distributed among displaced families in cooperation with Syrian Arab Red Crescent and Syrian charities.

Al-Husein clarified that every package weighs 63 kilograms and contains rice, flour, lentils, sunflower oil, salt, canned beans, sugar, pasta and tomato paste.

This is the third batch of food that brought in through the Nsaibeen border crossing in 2015. The previous batches that began on March 17 included 92,000 food packages.
