Paris, SANA- A number of French and Arab activists emphasized their support for the Syrian people in facing the crisis.
Participation in the “Syrian Sunday” event which is held by the Syrian community gathering in France later this month in preparation for “the trip of solidarity to Syria”, the participants stressed their objection to their countries’ policy towards Syria and the organized terrorism it suffers from.
In a statement to SANA , Stephan Philiman, one of the French activists said .. “ I want to visit Syria to be an ambassador of the French people and I’ll write about what I see in newspapers after coming back”.
The event was attended by a number of participants in the solidarity trip to Syria which is due next week sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, according to Dr. Rima Khlaifawi, head of Syrian community in France gathering.
Many figures participated in the event, expressing their solidarity with Syria, some by playing the Syrian national anthem while others participated by a speech or painting.
“Syrian Sunday” event is held by Syrian community gathering in France on a regular basis which aims at enhancing communication between Syrian expats and their homeland.
