Syrian-Tunisian talks on promoting bilateral cooperation

Tunis, SANA- Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ben Ayed discussed with Ambassador of Syria to Tunisia, Muhammed Muhammad boosting bilateral cooperation between Syria and Tunisia to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples.

The Tunisian official expressed his country’s interest to strengthen cooperation with Syria in various areas, including politics, economy, trade and culture.

He also stressed Tunisia’s firm stance calling for maintaining Syria’s security, sovereignty and independence ,and safeguarding the unity of its land and people.

The Syrian Ambassador, for his part, affirmed that both countries have deeply-rooted historical, cultural, and civilizational ties, and share visions and positions on issues of common interest.
