Kanaani: US sanctions on Venezuela oil violate international laws and regulations

Tehran, SANA-Iran condemned the measure taken by the US to extend unilateral coercive measures on the oil sector in Venezuela, stressing that it constitutes a violation of the principles of international law.

“Using illegal unilateral sanctions as a tool causes irreparable human and economic damage to countries” IRNA quoted Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani as saying Saturday.

Kanaani added that those measures constitute a violation of the principles of international law, human rights, and international rules and regulations.
