Syrian karate gains two silver medals, UAE Championship

Abu Dhabi-SANA- The Syrian karate team won two silver medals in the UAE Open International Championship, currently held in Sharjah, with the participation of 700 athletes from 47 countries.

The two medals were achieved by Rayan Nasr, in the -55 kg category, and Mustafa Masalma, in the -67 kg one.

The participation in this tournament is very large, especially from the world-ranked champions, said member of the karate Federation, Suhail Salman, pointing out that this tournament is being held for the first time and is considered a refresher before the WKF Youth League Karate Championship
