Geneva, SANA- Spokesperson for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Adnan Abu Hasna, has warned of the outbreak of diseases and epidemics in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the massive humanitarian needs there, particularly in winter.
“The needs are massive in the Gaza Strip, especially in winter season, which requires the provision of medicines and fuel, in addition to clothes and blankets, in large quantities.” RT website quoted Abu Hasna as saying on Sunday.
Abu Hasna considered that the aid entering the Gaza Strip is “just a drop in the ocean of humanitarian needs,” whether during the temporary truce or after it, expressing fears of the outbreak of diseases.
