Joint Iraqi forces liberate 80 villages between Diyala and Saladin provinces

Baghdad ,SANA – Joint Iraqi forces liberated 80 villages between Diyala and Saladin provinces, killing and injuring more than 200 terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria organization (ISIS).

Abdul Amir al-Zaidi, commander of operations in Dejla told SANA reporter in Baghdad that ” Dejla operation forces backed by popular resistance, special security services and tribesmen liberated 80 villages located on the line dividing Diyala and Saladin from terrorist gangs, killing and wounding 100 terrorists.

” This important operation cut off all vital transportation crossings used by terrorists to the two mentioned provinces that suffered from terrorists crimes for a long time”, Zaidi added.

In turn, Iraqi interior ministry said “115 terrorists were killed during the past 24 hours in al-Anbar and
Saladin crossing”.
