Moscow, SANA- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Ryabkov, said that the United States is the responsible for the current escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories because it has ignored for years the implementation of UN resolutions related to the political solution to the Palestinian issue.
During a meeting chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ryabkov described Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip as “random and dangerous”, considering that its threat of a ground attack would put the situation out of control in the region, as the Israeli occupation threatened to escalate its aggression and invade the Gaza Strip by land.
Ryabkov held the U.S. responsible for the deterioration of the situation in the region because it monopolized the political solution for years and ignored the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
