Syrian U23 football team to meet its Omani counterpart on Wednesday, Amman

Amman, SANA- The Syria’s U23 football team is going to meet its Oman’s on Wednesday during its participation for AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifiers within Group1.

Group 1 competitions will be hosted by the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The Syrian team is scheduled to play its second match in the qualifiers next Saturday, against the Brunei team, while it will face the Jordanian team in its last match on September 12.

The Syrian team won the silver medal in the Arab Games hosted by Algeria last July after losing in the final match to the Saudi team on penalties.
