National Earthquake Center: Six low-intensity earthquake recorded

Damascus, SANA-The National Earthquake Center announced that 6 earthquakes of low intensity were recorded during the last 24 hours.

The center said in a statement to SANA that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded 6 earthquakes, including 3 in Liwa Iskenderun, ranging with magnitude of 1.4 – 2.7 on the Richter scale.

The center added that the stations also recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 1.9 hit southwest of Homs, and another one with a magnitude of 1.3 hit north of Lattakia, and an earthquake with magnitude of 3.7 in Turkey.
