National Earthquake Center: 12 aftershocks recorded during last 24 hours

Damascus, SANA-The National Earthquake Center announced that stations of the National Seismological Network recorded 12 aftershocks with a magnitude of less than 4.6 degrees on the Richter scale during the past 24 hours.

The center stated in a statement to SANA on Thursday that three tremors were recorded in Liwa Iskenderun, ranging in intensity between 2 and 2.5 degrees, and nine tremors in the Turkish mainland, ranging between 2.4 and 4.5 degrees.

The center indicated that the number of tremors recorded in Syria and Liwa Iskenderun decreased during the past 72 hours compared to the tremors that were in Turkey.
