Husseiniya threshold in Iraq provides medical supplies for Jableh National Hospital

Lattakia, SANA- The Martyr Ibrahim Na’ama National Hospital in Jableh received Sunday a batch of medical aid provided by the Holy Husseiniya threshold in Iraq to support the efforts exerted by the hospital and increase the level of medical services for patients.

A delegation from the Holy threshold, headed by Major General Ali al-Hamdani, was briefed on the rehabilitation works accomplished at the emergency, laboratory and cardiac care departments.

The value of the provided equipment amounted to more than SYP 1.4 billion, in addition to more than SYP 100 million for rehabilitation works, according to the delegation.

This aid aims to stand by the Syrians and help them to overcome their ordeal after the devastating earthquake that struck the country.

The aid included patient monitors, an electric heart defibrillator, an electrocardiograph for the cardiac care department and other devices, in addition to 50 beds, mattresses, closets, and dining tables.

In turn, director of the hospital, Dr. Qussai Khalil, thanked the Iraqi brothers, especially the Holy Husseiniya threshold, for their assistance.

He asserted that the new medical equipment will enhance the performance of the medical and nursing cadres

For his part, Head of Lattakia Governorate Council, Eng. Tayseer Habib, appreciated the great efforts exerted by Husseiniya threshold and its role in alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people.
