3.8 magnitude earthquake hits Lattakia

Damascus, SANA-An earthquake measuring 3.8 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Saturday afternoon, southeast of Lattakia.

“The quake occurred at a distance of 14 km southeast of Lattakia city, at a depth of 23 km, at latitude 35.477 degrees and longitude 35.925,” The National Seismological Center stated in a statement.
