President al-Assad arrives in Moscow on an official visit to Russia to hold talks with Russian counterpart Putin

Moscow, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday arrived in Moscow on an official visit to Federal Russia to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Official reception ceremonies were held to President al-Assad at Vnukovo International Airport. The President was received by Mr. Michael Bogdanov, the special representative of President Putin and deputy Foreign Minister, the Russian Ambassador in Damascus Alexander Efimov and Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow, Bashar al-Jaafari.

Later, the two national anthems of Syria and Russia were played then President al-Assad reviewed the guard of honor.

A large Ministerial delegation accompanies the President to Moscow.
