Despite all Western pressure, Middle east countries will not advocate anti-Russian track

Moscow, SANA- Vice President of Russian Council for Foreign Affairs, Director of Institute of Oriental Studies of Russian Academy of Sciences, Vitaly Naumkin, affirmed Tuesday that countries of the Middle East, despite all Western pressures, will not join the anti-Russian track.

The great majority of the region’s countries have faced pressure of the West, and there are no indications that any of them might support the sanctions imposed on Russia, as this will be useless, Naumkin told the journalists on the sidelines of the 12th session of Valdai International Dialogue Forum.

He stressed the firm stance of the countries of the region, noting that if these countries maintain their stance, this situation will be better for them, and there will be more opportunities to diversify their foreign relations with a large number of countries.
