Slovak Figures: sanctions against Syria inhumane, hinder arriving of aid for the affected

Prague, SANA- Slovak university professor, Eduard Khmilar, has affirmed that the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria is inhumane, especially as it hinders arriving of aid for the Syrians affected by the devastating earthquake

“These sanctions are evidence of double standards of Western countries”,  Khemilar said in a post on his Facebook account, condemning the European politicians about these policies at a time when they talk about the importance of human rights.

Head of Slovak Socialist Party, Artur Bekmato, said that it is shameful for the European countries not to support Syria in confronting the quake repercussions.

He noted that these countries should send all possible kinds of medical aid, foodstuff and children’s needs aid for the quake-afflicted in Syria.
