Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announces end of its teams’ mission in Syria

Moscow, SANA- Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced Tuesday the return of its teams from Syria after fulfilling their mission in the regions affected by the quake hit the country last week.

‘A Russian IL-76 plane, affiliated to the Ministry, landed at Zhukov Sky Airport in Moscow suburbs on Tuesday evening, with the relief teams on board who participated in rescuing operations in Syria over the last week’, TASS news agency quoted Russian Ministry as saying in a statement,

The Ministry added that all its teams fulfilled all their tasks in Syria, expecting the return of its staff from Turkey as well.

The group of Russian experts included 50 persons, including 3 teams with trained dogs, who headed for Syria on February 6th immediately after the devastating earthquake.
