The Cabinet allocates SYP 50 bn to tackle consequences of the devastating earthquake shaked the country

Damascus, SANA- The Council of Ministers approved an executive action plan to manage and organize relief operations in the governorates (Aleppo, Lattakia, Hama and Tartous).

The plan was in light of the directives issued by Cabinet session held on Monday chaired by President Bashar Al-Assad to follow up on the impacts of the devastating earthquake that hit Syria on Monday 6-2-2023.

During the cabinet session on Tuesday, chaired by Prime Minister, Eng. Hussein Arnous, the Council allocated SYP 50 billion as an initial amount to finance the emergency operations taken to deal with the effects of the earthquake.
