Damascus, SANA- Activities of the 4th annual conference of Urban Economic Forum (UEF) kicked off on Monday with participation of Syria.
Virtually Syria is represented in the two-day conference, which will be held in the Canadian city of Toronto, by the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Engineer Suhail Abdel Latif.
The conference focuses on sustainable urbanization financing., and establishing an international discourse on achieving a sustainable urban economy.
Last October, Syria participated in the third annual conference of the Forum, which was held in the Canadian city of Brampton, via the Zoom platform, under the motto “Housing and Urban Recovery and Scientific Methods needed to move towards further Sustainability of Urban Economies.”
