Syria’s U-23 football team qualifies for the Asian Cup finals with 9 points and three wins

Damascus, SANA- The Syrian U-23 football team qualified for the Asian Cup finals to be held in Uzbekistan next year after beating Turkmenistan team by 4-1 yesterday.

The Syrian national team came second in Group D after Jordan to obtain the 4^th place among the best teams of second place.

It achieved three wins by beating China Taipei 1-0 , Mariana Islands team 10-0 and Turkmenistan team 4-1 , and it lost to Jordon team by 2-1 .
