Tartous, (SANA) Minister of Culture Lubanah Mshaweh called on Wednesday for spreading the culture of tolerance through holding cultural activities which circulate the amity, love, coexistence thoughts among the Syrian citizens.
During a meeting with heads of the cultural centers, workers of the National Theater, al-Kindi Cinema and members of Elders Education Department and Tartous Archeological Department, Mshaweh stressed the need to support the cultural movement in the province and offer all possible facilities to promote its situation.
In a relevant context, Mshaweh opened an artistic exhibition for the displaced children at the Arab Cultural Center in Tartous.
The Minister pointed out that the children in Syria are the most damaged due to the crisis, therefore efforts should be exerted to ward off them from the psychological effect through cultural activities aiming at consolidating the children against the bad thought.
The exhibition included artistic paintings through which the children expressed their love to their homeland and pride in the victories of the Syrian Arab Army.
